The challenge

BT Business is a leading telecommunications company in the UK, providing a wide range of services including broadband, mobile, and TV.

The pilot assessed the effectiveness of an e-learning CDM for Telecoms course as a foundational learning solution to improve confidence and competence in delivering the requirements of the CDM Regulations. Key learning points included planning and designing out risk, managing construction phase activities, and protecting employees and customers to meet B2B contract requirements.

Our approach

  • Pilot set-up

    Defined measurement parameters, developed user questionnaires, issued onboarding guidance and registered 46 BT project managers.

  • Pilot rollout and support

    46 CDM e-learning licences, four weeks of user access, online support, and training certificates on completion.

  • Performance reporting and tracking

    Quarterly dashboard reports, reports based on the questionnaires, and regular updates on course content.

  • Evaluation

    BT stakeholders accessed the raw data and a reporting pack, followed by a meeting to understand the results and decide on a wider training rollout.
